This dashboard is used by business leaders at a large tech company in Cupertino, California to generate a report based on certain criteria. Sometimes, the users must send reports to another system. The following slideshow shows the progression from the original app design of many years ago, the initial design concepts presented to me for review and my design consultation, an initial design mockup created by me, and the final mockup also created by me.
The client wanted the app to be faster and adopt the brand of the company and product for which the reports were generated. Because this project utilized the styling framework (living style guide) that I had developed for two previous projects for the same product, the developers did not require redline drawings or other detailed wireframe documents to complete the project. They needed some initial instructions on how to use the styling framework, but after that, they were self-sufficient.
